Description

The Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County (LVCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving residents' lives through free literacy instruction.
We help people gain crucial skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to English through one-on-one and small group tutoring. We also train volunteer tutors and run the Literacy Volunteers Bookstore, to support our services.

The Literacy Volunteer Bookstore offers hundreds of gently used books. We are the only bookstore in the Fredonia area. From children's books to rare and antique books, we guarantee something for every reader!

All proceeds directly support our literacy services. With every purchase, you help change someone's life.

Donation of books is greatly appreciated.
We are unable to take textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines, and books in very poor shape.  You can drop off books during open hours or call 920-841-3897 to arrange pick-up.
